A three-piece continental style shore fishing rod designed for clean to mixed ground beach fishing and maximum bite detection. The competition, solid carbon, hybrid tip offers the very best bite detection whatever the range, making this the ideal rod for scratching and targeting those smaller species. The go to rod when fishing for flatfish, whiting, pouting and other smaller inshore species. Also, a great summer rod when targeting bream, garfish, and mackerel. Constructed from a lightweight carbon, fitted with Gunsmoke SiC KW guides and with an ergonomic butt grip and DPS reel seat with cushioned hood. The butt section is finished in a deep blue which blends into a black mid and tip section, with a reflective tip for easier bit indication. Sections are finished with metal collars for strength and have matt sections near the ferules for more grip and easier take apart.
